Scrunch vs OnlyAEO: Should You Make Your Site AI-Ready, or Also Create the Content AI Cites?

What is Scrunch?

Scrunch calls itself "The AI Customer Experience Platform" on its homepage. Its headline promise is to monitor and improve your brand's visibility in AI search.

It has three main parts, by its own description:

• Monitoring and Insights. Its monitoring page says it shows your presence and position across AI platforms, which sources and pages AI uses to build answers, and how often your domain is cited. You can filter by topic, persona, model and region.
• AI bot traffic. The same page tracks visits from AI retrieval bots such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, with crawl frequency and most-crawled pages.
• Agent Experience Platform (AXP). Its AXP page says Agent Pages convert your site into an AI-optimised format and serve it only to AI retrieval bots. It runs at the CDN layer with Akamai, Cloudflare and Vercel, and the human-facing site is unaffected.

Scrunch also helps with existing pages. Its how-to guide says the Optimizer returns up to five recommendations for a page. With AXP, it can generate an optimised version of the page that you copy as Markdown or deploy through AXP. Its Content Gaps post says it flags prompts where your site has missing or thin content.

Scrunch states it is SOC 2 Type II compliant and has an agency offering. We found no done-for-you content service on its site. Its Enterprise plan includes a "dedicated GTM team".

What is OnlyAEO?

OnlyAEO is an AEO platform. It finds the questions buyers ask AI, tracks which brands the answers name and which sources they cite, and creates the content that answers those questions.

There are two ways to use it. Your team runs the platform, or our team runs it for you on a managed plan.

What it creates:

• Articles on your site. Answer-first and fact-checked, written in your voice and published in your site's design. We publish to Framer, WordPress, Webflow or any other CMS.
• YouTube videos. Planned, scripted and packaged every month, because AI reads YouTube too.
• Mentions on other sites (Authority plan). Third-party articles, reviews, listings and directories that AI already reads.
• Other languages. English plus Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali and other Indian and global languages.

Every piece is written from a Context Graph, one record of your company. It then passes five checks: facts against sources, your voice, links tested, an independent quality score of 85 or higher, and your approval. By default, nothing goes live until you approve it.

The platform tracks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and Grok. LLM Attribution logs 170+ AI crawlers and AI-referred visits. More is on how it works.

How much do Scrunch and OnlyAEO cost?

Scrunch publishes its prices; OnlyAEO does not yet. These rows were checked on Scrunch's pricing page on 30 October 2026.

Scrunch says annual billing saves 17%. Extra seats cost $25 a month each. Starter comes with a 7-day free trial and no credit card. Prices change, so confirm them on the vendor's page before you buy.

Scrunch vs OnlyAEO, feature by feature

Scrunch wins on engine count, published price, trial, and the AXP layer. OnlyAEO wins on creating new content, video, third-party mentions, Indian languages and having a team that can run the work.

Where Scrunch is the better choice

• You want to start today without a call. Scrunch Starter has a published price and a 7-day trial with no card. OnlyAEO has neither.
• You need Perplexity, AI Overviews, AI Mode or Meta tracked. Scrunch names all four on its pricing page. Our platform tracks none of them.
• Your site is hard for AI bots to read. AXP serves AI bots a cleaner version of your pages at the CDN layer, without changing what people see. We do not offer that.
• You want many prompts per dollar. Starter includes 350 custom prompts and 1,000 industry prompts.
• Your content team already writes well. If you have writers who can act on audits and gap reports, Scrunch gives them the data.
• You run an agency. Scrunch has a dedicated agency offering.

Where OnlyAEO is the better choice

• Nobody on your team has time to write. Our team can run the platform and create the work, and you approve each piece.
• You need new content, not only better pages. We write new answer-first articles, make YouTube videos and, on the Authority plan, earn mentions on other sites.
• You sell in Indian languages. We write in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali and more, with the same checks as English.
• Accuracy is the worry. Every claim is checked against a source, and a separate scorer has to rate each piece 85 or higher before it reaches you.
• You want DeepSeek and Grok tracked. Our platform tracks both. Scrunch's pricing page does not list them.

What OnlyAEO does not do (yet)

• No public self-serve price. You get a price on a short call.
• No free plan or trial. We offer a free AI visibility audit instead.
• Fewer tracked engines. Our platform tracks 5 engines and does not track Perplexity, AI Overviews or AI Mode.
• No AI-only site layer. We have nothing like Scrunch's AXP.
• A younger company. We have fewer third-party reviews than older tools.
• You may not need us. If you only want tracking and have an in-house content team, Scrunch may be enough.

Can you use Scrunch and OnlyAEO together?

Yes. Scrunch can keep monitoring and serving AXP pages, and our content engine imports reports from any AI visibility tool. It reads Excel, CSV, PDF, Word, Markdown, HTML or plain text, or a share link. The gaps in the report become our brief, and the next Scrunch report shows whether the work moved anything.

What results has OnlyAEO produced?

• FastTrackr AI. It went from 0.1% to 26.7% AI visibility, and from #338 to #3 of 458 wealth-tech brands, in about 100 days (February to May 2026). Its site, fasttrackr.ai, became the #4 most-cited source in May and #2 by 26 August 2026.
• New York edibles retailer. It went from 1.5% to 25% AI visibility.

These are past results, not a forecast. We do not guarantee rankings or citations, and first measurable results usually take at least 60 days.

Verdict

• Lean team with writers, wants broad tracking now: Scrunch Starter.
• Large site that AI bots struggle to read: Scrunch, for AXP.
• No time to create content, or need Indian languages: OnlyAEO, run by our team.
• Want both: keep Scrunch for monitoring and let OnlyAEO create the content.

How much does Scrunch cost in 2026?

Scrunch's pricing page listed Starter at $300 a month or $250 a month billed annually, and Growth at $500 a month or $417 billed annually, when we checked on 30 October 2026. Enterprise is custom. OnlyAEO has no public price yet; you get one on a short call.

Does Scrunch write content for you?

Partly. Scrunch's Optimizer gives recommendations for a page, and with AXP it can generate an optimised version of the page that you copy or deploy. We found no service on its site where Scrunch's people write and publish new articles for you.

Does OnlyAEO's platform track Perplexity?

No. The platform tracks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and Grok. Scrunch tracks Perplexity. The content we create is meant to help across all major assistants, Perplexity included, but we do not report Perplexity numbers.

What is Scrunch AXP?

AXP, the Agent Experience Platform, serves an AI-optimised version of your site only to AI retrieval bots. Scrunch says it runs at the CDN layer with Akamai, Cloudflare and Vercel, and leaves the human-facing site unchanged.
